Federal sentencing guidelines worksheet.

What it is

Federal sentencing guidelines worksheet. Sums the base offense level, specific-offense-characteristics, and Chapter 3 role/obstruction/acceptance adjustments to a final offense level (floored at 1, capped at 43); maps criminal-history points to a category (I-VI); looks up the U.S. Sentencing Commission Sentencing Table (Ch.5 Pt.A) for the advisory guideline range in months; and identifies the zone (A/B/C/D) with its probation/split-sentence implications. The table and every mapping are published data cited to ussc.gov. The guidelines are ADVISORY (United States v. Booker); this is a range, not a prediction of the sentence, and adjustment selection is legal judgment. Exact integer arithmetic, in-browser, nothing leaves the page. Research aid, not legal advice.

Honest scope

Deterministic and citation-backed: every figure is exact arithmetic or a cited rule. Any year- or jurisdiction-indexed value is a confirmable input, never an eternal hardcode. This is a computation tool, not professional (legal, tax, medical, or financial) advice - confirm against the controlling authority for your context.
