SBA Loan Eligibility Reviewer (7a / 504 / Microloan)
A transparent, cited rules check of a small business against published SBA eligibility - 7(a), 504, Microloan, and Express.
See it run - a worked example, 100% in this browser tab
The problem
SBA eligibility spans size standards, core 13 CFR 120 criteria, use-of-proceeds limits, and program-specific add-ons, and getting it wrong late in a file wastes the borrower's and the lender's time on a deal that was never going to qualify.
The local-first solution
This plugin runs a deterministic, in-browser screen of a business against the published SBA rules for 7(a), 504, Microloan, and Express, returning an overall determination, a criterion-by-criterion table, a precise 'Needs' list, and the controlling citation for every line - no API, no key, no AI.
What it does
Exact alternative size standard test (tangible net worth and 2-year average net income) or a NAICS-based yes/no
Core eligibility screen across 13 CFR 120.100-120.111 (for-profit, U.S.-located, equity, character, citizenship, federal debt)
Use-of-proceeds classification as eligible, conditional, or prohibited (13 CFR 120.120-120.130)
Program add-ons: 504 occupancy and public-benefit, Microloan and Express loan-amount ceilings
Overall determination: eligible to proceed, needs review, or ineligible
A 'Needs' list of exactly the items to cure or document, with citations
Honest scope
The arithmetic is exact and every criterion cites its controlling authority, but this is an eligibility screen, not a credit decision and not legal or financial advice - the lender and the SBA make the binding determination, and SOP 50 10 controls operationally and changes periodically. The full NAICS size-standard table (13 CFR 121.201) is not encoded, affiliation must be included when you total receipts or net worth, and 'credit elsewhere' is a lender certification this screen only records. No GeoNum drift is tracked, so the result is reported as untracked.

Screen for eligibility
Run the eligibility screen in your browser, then save the structured result to a Sandbox workspace, attach it to a Worklog loan-intake case, or route it into a Gate client portal. Everything computes locally with nothing uploaded.
